I am here to provide a safe space, a listening ear, and an understanding heart. I understand the difficulty and am dedicated to helping my clients overcome the shame of mental health stigma and normalize prioritizing one's healing and self-care. There is so much courage in coming to counseling. Whether by a significant event or day-to-day challenges, life has brought you to reach out for help. I invite you to take the first step and make the call. As for the rest of the steps, we'll take them together. I offer help with a particular emphasis on disordered eating, relationships, mood, and anxiety.
I appreciate the opportunity to work together with you to identify and address any mental health challenges you may be experiencing. I know that coming to therapy may be an intimidating and vulnerable space for you to be in. That is the reason I focus on creating a safe and warm environment for you to feel comfortable whenever you meet with me. I sincerely believe that therapy should be a partnership where the therapist and patient work collaboratively to navigate life’s challenges therefore, I give you complete control to decide what to actively work on with me. My counseling style is rooted in empathy and compassion so that my patients feel heard, supported and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. My clinical focus currently includes working with adults 18+ struggling with anxiety, divorce adjustment, life transitions, relationships, and women’s issues. Telehealth sessions only at this time.
As a therapist, my intention is to provide a safe place to explore the ways in which mental health issues have been a barrier to living a fulfilled life. In addition, I also help clients identify their strengths and resilience so they can be confident in navigating life’s ups and downs moving forward. I have experience working with clients who are navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach is trauma informed, client centered, and multiculturally minded, and I utilize modalities such as EMDR, ACT, DBT, and CBT.

This doctor was a great listener and seemed to understand how people think pretty well.

I had a very good experience with Cassandra. She was a great listener and she asked me some thought provoking questions. I felt comfortable to express myself during the entire session.
- Samantha V.
Cassandra was very friendly, and made a stressful situation easier to deal with. Finding the right person to help your child can be hard and stressful but Cassandra made it easy and comfortable. I have no doubt that she will be able to help my son with his issues and we will see positive results.
- Tracy V.
Cassandra actually "heard" me! Most therapists don't seem interested, just doing their "job." Cassandra understood what I was saying, what I needed and wanted. She is very accommodating. She seems to know and understand her position as my therapist and respects my individual needs, specifically.
- Patti P.
She asks your very great questions that allow you to understand the way you think or feel. She’s very fast to understanding the situation and giving good advice on how to cope.

We will all face challenges, but it's about how we navigate those, grow, and learn from them together, that makes a strong, successful relationship. I offer free 15 minute phone consultations as well. I look forward to supporting you and helping your relationship grow.
